Saudi Arabia has continued economic growth

Recently Saudi Arabia again touted its continued economic growth during a seminar in the UK. Opportunities are in the housing sector. The Kingdom projects a shortage in housing of 1.2 million homes. To alleviate the shortage the Kingdom has allocated $1.2 billion for the construction of 500,000 homes this coming year. Comparing this to the United States it is little less than a month supply of new homes in the entire country. Considering the size and density of the country this is very robust growth rate.

So what do Football and Sales have in common?

Just like your favorite football team, your sales team’s performance is greatly dependent on how well you lay out the game strategy for your team. Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that your team’s performance is not important. Your team has to be good enough to even qualify for the playoffs before they can win the game. But to get to the top, you need a combination of great sales people and, an even better sales strategy.

Business Comfort Zones

Recently, my business world grew exponentially by winning a bid to partner with a national association. After the excitement wore off, it dawned on me how many things it entailed that were outside of my comfort zone. That included spending a lot of money to prepare for the three year commitment and launch of the program; having to hire an outside marketing person; needing to create and prepare for my company’s very first trade show booth; and most of all, needing to speak to an audience of about 400 people.
